From Biarritz to Sydney with contemporary artist Mathieu Chavaren
Biarritz based artist Mathieu Chavaren has been making waves in the contemporary art scene. Recently we followed the young artist on a creative journey from the south west of France to Sydney, Australia. where he presented his most recent series “Pensées”. Featuring large format oil paintings and works on paper. The acclaimed artist whose work is included in many important private, corporate and institutional collections across Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Mathieu is highly involved with the Standart, one of the most influential and active collective in Biarritz, but also very active into the art charity. Let’s embark on a few minutes and thousands of kilometres into Mathieu’s life and art.
